SMS Privacy price slash. Again.

8th Nov 2017

Back in July we slashed all our prices in half after a rise in the Bitcoin price. Since then, the Bitcoin price has continued to rise and the SMS Privacy prices are once again looking a bit high. So, again, we're slashing the prices in half! As of now, the new prices are as follows:

Virtual numbers: was 0.005 BTC/mo, then 0.002 BTC/mo, now only 0.001 BTC/mo (1 mBTC/mo)
Physical numbers: was 0.02 BTC/day, then 0.01 BTC/day, then 0.005 BTC/day, now only 0.003 BTC/day (3 mBTC/day)
Sending messages: was 0.0002 BTC/message, then 0.0001 BTC/message, now only 0.00005 BTC/message (0.05 mBTC/message)
Receiving messages: still free

We're still accepting payments below 0.02 BTC after 0 confirmations, as detailed in our 0-conf payments announcement. That means you won't be waiting around before you can use our service: as soon as our Bitcoin node detects your payment, your account will be credited and you can start using SMS Privacy. We're also looking forward to enabling Lightning Network payments once Lightning starts seeing some use on mainnet.
